It’s 72 hours in the life of Drake in the new music video for “Jumbotron Shit Poppin.” Released on Tuesday (January 17), the Tristan C-M-directed visual for the Her Loss single shows Drizzy flexing next to a red Ferrari, hitting a nightclub and going jewelry shopping – even stunting multiple pieces from Pharrell’s archival jewelry collection.
From Pharrell’s digital auction house Joopiter, the Toronto native is seen rocking a 14K three-tone N.E.R.D pendant chain ($2,184,000), a white gold brain pendant chain ($725,000) and a skateboard pendant chain ($103,750). Drizzy also wears a yellow gold version of the Brain Pendant Chain ($150,000), a BBC Pendant Chain ($150,000), and a gold-plated PSP (PlayStation Portable).
In a press release, Pharrell shared his vision for Joopiter, which closed in November.
“The idea behind JOOPITER is to embrace the energy that is released when objects change hands, and to respect the value that’s been created around these objects. JOOPITER is a new platform for myself and for my fellow curators, one where existing and future generations of collectors can feel welcome to take part in this exchange.”
A collaborative project with 21 Savage, Her Loss was Drake’s second release of 2022, following his dance-oriented seventh studio album Honestly, Nevermind. Both albums debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with Her Loss moving roughly 404,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
