Ghostface Killah, longtime member of Wu-Tang Clan, is partnering with Kano Computer for a new project that will release to the Stem Player.

Ghostface Killah and Kano Computing unite. The longtime Wu-Tang Clan member has announced that he’s partnering with the company behind Kanye West’s Stem Player for a new project. Ghostface, legal name Dennis Coles, will release new music and visual content through the device. Like West’s device, the circular pod can be used to isolate elements of a song along with adding additional effects.

Ghostface’s Stem Player will have two versions: a cream edition ($240) that comes with five songs and a Black edition ($360) with ten songs. Purchasers will have access to “never before heard music” along with “video documentaries, direct meetings with the crew, and access to an exclusive Stem fest concert,” according to a press release. Both versions of the Stem Player will begin shipping in February 2023.

Until midnight on Tuesday (January 10), the Stem Player website will give Ghostface fans access to a free stream of the rapper’s new song “6 Minutes.” A semi-biographical of Ghostface’s life will be seen in the third and final season of Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga, which premieres next month. According to the rapper, although he and Raekwon are portrayed as once being foes, the two “never had beef.”

“Me and Rae never had no problems. It was just the way them characters got switched around,” Ghostface said during his appearance on Outside with Gorilla Nems.

“But you know, Rae, that’s my bro. I love him,” he added. “We had chemistry, like he taught me a lot of s***, a lot of slang ’cause up where they’re from, they had too much slang.”
