SZA is bringing her new album S.O.S to arenas nationwide. On Tuesday (December 13), Live Nation announced that the singer-songwriter will begin her 17-date ‘S.O.S North American Tour’ in February, kicking off at Columbus, Ohio’s Schottenstein Center before continuing with stops in Chicago, Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Vancouver and more before wrapping up at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. The tour also makes SZA’s first solo arena tour. In 2017, the artist held her ‘Ctrl the Tour’ in standing-room venues including Cleveland’s House of Blues, Philadelphia’s The Fillmore and more. Last Friday (December 9), she released her long-awaited sophomore album S.O.S with has guest appearances from Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers and the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard. Also on Friday, SZA released a music video for new single “Nobody Gets Me.”
Prior to releasing S.O.S., SZA hinted at the album possibly being her last in an interview with Billboard.
“I feel like music, in this capacity, I don’t see longevity,” she told Billboard. “I like to create, I like to write, I like to sing, and I like to share. But I don’t know if chasing after superstardom or whatever I’m supposed to be doing right now is sustainable for me or for anybody. I’mma take a good swing at it, and I’mma give ’em my absolute best.”
