In a recent interview with The New York Times, Jordan Peele teased a Nope prequel, one month after the release of its first installment.

Moviegoers haven’t seen the last of Nope from filmmaker Jordan Peele. One months after the release of his third horror epic, Peele spoke to The New York Times in an interview published Monday (August 29). When journalist Mekado Murphy asked Peele about a Nope character being listed on IMDB as “Nobody,” credited to ‘Michael Busch,’ the character doesn’t appear in the film or its final trailer.

“People are doing a lot of interesting detective work, is what’s going on,” Peele responded. “The story of that character has yet to be told, I can tell you that. Which is another frustrating way of saying, I’m glad people are paying attention. I do think they will get more answers on some of these things in the future. We’re not over telling all of these stories.”

Peele added, “I do think [fans] will get more answers on some of these things in the future. We’re not over telling all of these stories.”

Starring Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer as sibling horse training duo  Otis “OJ” Haywood Jr. and Emerald “Em” Haywood, the two look after their deceased father’s Hollywood ranch when a mysterious UFO begins terrorizing their area. Released on July 22, Nope grossed nearly $150 million with Keith David, Steven Yeun, Barbie Ferreira, Brandon Perea and Michael Wincott rounding out the cast. Nope fans can find more easter eggs about the film on its accompanying viral website, Jupiter’s Claim.
